Author Topic: Audio delay settings on doremi server Frederick Lanoy Film Handler Posts: 88 From: North of France Registered: Aug 2009 posted 12-31-2011 10:07 AM                     Hello everybody and first of all happy new year. I learnt recently that it's possible to set up an audio delay directly on a digital cinema server. I though that you can do that only in the processor... Obviously, i was wrong. My question is simple : where do you set up the audio delay on a doremi server ? Does the same function exist on Dolby server ? I never saw it... With earlier software versions, you change an environment variable. Doremi recommands a setting of 80 ms. With this setting, is it necessary or not to define a audio delay on the audio processor ? Wether you set it in the server or in the sound processor is up to you. If the sound processor has it's own global delay option, I would recommend to leave the Doremi setting on it's default value and do the adjustment in in the cinema processor. - Carsten  |  IP: Logged
