Is anyone running 3D with an NEC NC800C projector? What is needed to make it 3D ready?

It can run 3D like any other series 1 projector. There is not a kit for Dolby 3D. We have a client running XpanD with an NC800C. No big deal.

Just be aware they are not the brightest of machines, so be sure you have enough light [Wink]

Thanks guys. luckily it's a very small screen so light shouldn't be an issue.

It can be done. We have three running RealD - one through a z-screen onto a 4.5m screen, the others through XL units. The one on an 8.5m 'scope screen struggles (it was pushing it a bit for 2D, tbh); fortunately it is very rarely used for 3D.

None of ours triple flash, but that hasn't attracted any negative feedback.
