For some reason our dss100 show store won't recognize that a USB memory stick is plugged in. The way I have to load licenses is by restarting the show store. Does anyone have a solution for this? It's real inconvenient having to wait for a show to end to restart and then load licenses. This is also an issue with hard drives that aren't going in USB.

Not sure about your model but our DSS200 wont ingest KDMs while a show is playing either. I just took it as a given since the KDM is checked against the mediablock and the mediablock is busy playing a show.

When it stops working, did you try the USBs on the back? I've seen some servers with worn out front USB sockets.

I'll check out the rear usb next time. I did a hard restart on the dss100 and when it came on it recognized the USB. It seems like it only does it when the projector has been turned off at some point. Like if I were to come in the morning and turn everything on it won't recognize the USB or hard drive slot unless I restart. Kind of a dumb problem to have
