Hello, Guys
As so often before, I hope You could give me a tip: I'm running a beautiful looking DCP of "Lawrence of Arabia", but find the sound hopelessly "thin" and no way close to what I remember from the old 70mm prints. I tried the 50 years jubilee BluRay his morning with better sound than the DCP. All other films just sound great on my two year old digital equipment, but my favourite of all disappoints me - namely after having read on the web, how happy other people are with this latest, restored reissue. I heard about collegues beeing puzzeled over some special set-up, when "Sound of Music" should play DTS with six discrete tracks, but have not heard anyone mention any special gimmick about LoA on DCP. Any advise, please ?
I run Dolby CP650, Dolby 200 Server.
Greetings from Denmark
