Author Topic: Sonic Tier Audio Sam King Expert Film Handler Posts: 120 From: Los Angeles, CA Registered: Oct 2006 posted 07-18-2013 05:55 PM                     Does anyone here have any experience and/or info/opinions on Sonic Tier Audio? It appears to be an international (S. Korea) competitor to Dolby ATMOS and Barco Auro. It apparently can feature a staggering 15 stage channels L, Lc, C, Rc, R at 3 different heights. I've Googled a bit about this Sonic Tier Audio, but the information readily available is quite minimal. Even then, it will be pretty useless in production without content and I don't see Dolby or Barco opening up their proprietary sound formats anytime soon.  |  IP: Logged
