I recently replaced a hard drive on a Doremi 2K4 server. There are 3x 1TB drives and drive b had become degraded. Replaced the drive and rebuild the raid array. All went smooth. I did notice that there is room for a 4th drive. So I added a 4th drive, exactly the same as all the other 3 drives but how do I add it to the array without losing everything? Tried the 'repair' option but only gives me the choice to rebuild losing all data. The drive shows up at boot time in the bios window but there is no sdd drive listed in the diagnostic window.
Any help would be appreciated.

6.7 Adding the Fourth Drive
The fourth drive cannot be added via the GUI. It must be added using a command line. To add
the fourth drive, follow the directions below:
• Open a terminal window by going to Menu → System → Terminal.
• Log in as a super user.
• Type the following commands, followed by the Enter key:
◦ su <enter>
◦ sh /doremi/sbin/reinit_raid.sh <enter>
• The wizard will show you the current raid size. The default is 3

The wizard will ask for the installed number of disks, enter 4 here. You will lose all content though !

There have been reports that adding a fourth drive to a Doremi will increase reliability during simultaneous Play and Ingests/network transfers, TMS operations, etc.. However, conventional straight ingest, USB and CRU, is said to be considerably slower than before.
