Does anyone have any information and cost on the new Barco Alchemy module (R9801135)? Will it play 4K and high frame rates? Thanks!

I don't know the prices - but as you can read in the specs, the Alchemy will handle 4K 2D up to 60fps and 4K 3D up to 30fps.

However, if you're installing the Alchemy module as an upgrade to an existing projector, you'll need to cough up some more money for a license to do 4K 2D HFR or 4K 3D at any fps. This license comes with the package if you buy a new projector with an Alchemy module pre-installed.

Since it's a brand new product, some features are still upcoming via future software updates. They've just installed one in Finland, and I'm hoping to get to play with it hands-on in two weeks' time!

For quite a while, HFR will remain 3D/2k at 96 or 120fps, and the Alchemy of course will do that as well. I am also interested in estimated street price.
