Author Topic: Apogee DA-12 Digital Analog Converter Cinema Processor Cameron Glendinning Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 845 From: West Ryde, Sydney, NSW Australia Registered: Dec 2005 posted 10-12-2016 08:45 PM                     I just bought this Cinema Processor on ebay, never seen or heard of this brand before, is it any good or did I waste the little money that they were asking for? Any history?  |  IP: Logged Carsten Kurz Film God Posts: 4340 From: Cologne, NRW, Germany Registered: Aug 2009 posted 10-13-2016 05:52 AM                     I think they only labeled it 'cinema processor' in this auction (maybe because of the D25 analog outputs - Tascam pinout), the device itself was probably never branded or advertized for this specific use. Although, as any multichannel AES-D/A converter, it can of course be used in a cinema. Just like Doremis AUD-D2A could be used in any musical/recording environment.
