I am trouble shooting a Christie Solaria One right now. The on screen image has gone completely purple. This happens intermittently. Everything will be playing fine and then the whole screen gets a purple tint. The LE has been replaced twice. The ICP is working and has even been sapped with another house confirmed working and the problem persists. Changed out the back plane and the problem still persists. Up to date on projector software. Updated the back plane software. Changed out LVPS.

Can anybody offer any suggestions? Christie NOC and CST are both stumped.

All test patterns present purple.

Sounds like you are loosing green. Did the LE quick disconnect and cables between it and the LE get replaced with the LE? Sounds like a cable/connector issue.

NO LEQD on the solaria, but the cables were replaced for both new LE and then the back plane that the cables plug into was changed, so they should have had clean ports to go in to as well.

At one point during troubleshooting we were able to get the purple image to show static. Half the screen was white, the other half purple with some gradient due to static.

By purple, do you mean magenta (this is a VERY important distinction). If so, you are really down to the ICP, Green DMD and the connects between them. Test patterns are generated on the ICP so you can eliminate EVERYTHING before that.

If you put up a green test pattern do you get nothing or do you get magenta noise?

First off all, opening two separate new topics and posting in an existing topic isn't going to help the discussion, as you potentially start three separate discussions.

If your matter is urgent and you do have a service contract, the best thing to do is to call your installer. If they're not available for whatever reason, then call your local Christie representative.

If the machine is not covered by a service contract, then start debugging.

- Did you power cycle the machine?
- Did you try to re-seat the boards?
- Did you already run some test patterns? If so, what was the result?

Already power off cycled the proyector, if you mean by turning off the breakers, and unplugging the cables from the proyector. Done this several times.

Reseated the cards several times, cleaned the connecters with an eraser and contact cleaner. Have fixed some issues with this procedure with other color anomalies, but not with the magenta light purple image on screen.

Tested the screen patterns im definitely not getting the white, turned lamp and get a green color on screen.

Changed icp card with another working proyector and it worked. Discarded icp card problem.

I don't really understand this sentence. So, you swapped the ICP in the defective projector and it worked?

If so, it's clear the ICP is the problem, isn't it? But what do you mean with "Discarded icp card problem."?

And I guess your sound problem remains?

Have two solaria one Proyectors, proyector 1 is the one with the color magenta problem. Used proyector 1 icp card and plugged it to the second and exchanged icp cards between the two proyectors and detected that both icp cards are working properly. Meaning its not an ICP card problem.

I wonder if the original problem was ever even solved
