The early ones do fail, but the later San-Rex and the same type of replacements have been fine. What make are the ones that are failing? What brand of lamps do you use? Do you have surge protectors on the booth panels?

The early ones all fail eventually, but the replacement is very reliable. The projectors must have all gone in about the same mtime so they are all failing close together.... The new rectifiers are not cheap, something like $2850 USD
each.

Gord, After 8+ years I can still count the problems I have had with 344 NEC on just one hand, The Ruby rectifiers actually lasted my customer six years.., Only two 1200's I installed had them. The rest have been fine.
