We've started running some OC showtimes for the deaf community, but movie previews aren't available in OC. I'm trying to find a way to project the CC on screen during the previews.  |  IP: Logged Carsten Kurz Film God Posts: 4340 From: Cologne, NRW, Germany Registered: Aug 2009 posted 04-27-2019 05:19 PM                     I don't understand the restrictions of OC/CC for previews - but Doremi servers can be configured to render ClosedCaptions (if present in a DCP/CPL) on screen if you enable the serverside subtitling (as opposed to the standard projector side subtitling). This is a unique feature of the classic Doremi servers and their Dolby branded successors. If you use a different server, you are out of luck. It would be possible to build a closed caption display for open caption presentation (like e.g. a non-mirrored rear view display).
