Suddenly my Barco 1500 isn't talking to my Dolby 100 server. My Server Message says "ERROR UNABLE TO CONNECT TO PROJECTOR." The server and cat5 cable is 100% and works on another projector.

So what CARD has gone bad? Information or Guesses welcome.

PART TWO... I removed the "EBox" to swap cards now I can't get power to the EBox... I assume its a power POWER SUPPLY ISSUE.... WILL TEST FUSES ON FRIDAY.... OR just maybe the "EBox" is NOT SEATING CORRECTLY IN BARCO.

fyi...the BARCO RUNS TEST IMAGES / PATTERNS OK.

FUSES TEST FINE.... but the "EBox" / CAGE will not power up. In fact when the EBox and Cards are installed... the Barco 1500 is dead.

Sounds like you may have shorted something. Check the elia box connector pins.
PSU is not in the roca box on that machine so I feel it’s unlikely it’s the main cause. And the projector was working before.

If you have a gore TI board - a big black board - bear in mind that even a scratch on its surface may disable it so you need to be super careful.

Finally, a communication error may be caused by a number of issues, not necessarily on the projectors end.

It’s hard to advise to be honest.
