Author Topic: FS: Super Simplex heads, rebuilt+ repainted (40) Sumner McDanel Film Handler Posts: 22 Registered: Feb 2000 posted 06-30-2003 12:48 PM                     40 Super Simplex Heads comepltely overhauled by the legendary AL Moffa (Theatre Sound Service) of Catasauqua, Pa. befor his passing. Each head painstakingly disassembled sand/beadblasted and repainted inside and out in original wrinkle-finish , etc. Al was a firm believer in this head and bought all Charlie Wolk's old stock then commenced work. He did some minor modifications, removed the fireshutters, etc and sold the finished product for $595. We surely don't need them as we are more of a sound equipment company.
