Talk of KEM's in Yak reminds me that I have a KEM KS-6 body that I have no use for. It lacks a picture module which can be acquired elsewhere.

This is a 6-plate machine (1 picture, 2 soundtracks) but is not the later large non-modular machine that KEM inexplicably also used the KS name for. This is basically like a lighter RS (aka Rapid) and takes RS/K-800 modules. The primary difference between this unit and an RS-6 as that there is only one sound module position. This single position holds a single module that contains two independent single sprocket sound units. This module is included. The design is such that one can also place an ordinary two sprocket RS type sound module, 35mm or 16mm and it will work fine although you would only be running a single track that way, rendering the machine effectively a 4 plate.

Except for needing a picture module (and possibly a cable for the counter) the machine is complete and was in good working order when last tested. Its last real usage was on features.

BTW, really old Rapid (RS) 35mm modules will not work but all 16mm ones will. I can explain further if someone is interested.

More info and pics can be found HERE

Machine is just gathering dust so the first serious offer gets it. FOB Chicago area.

I also have a late model KEM Universal which I may be putting up for sale soon. But that's another story.
