Author Topic: FS: Used Sony DFP-2000 & Sony DFP-R2000 Darren Solomon Film Handler Posts: 28 From: unknown Registered: Jan 2002 posted 05-07-2005 01:57 AM                        1x Sony DFP-2000 SDDS Decoder s/n: 14583. 1x Sony DFP-R2000 SDDS Reader s/n: 14843. Asking $400.00 for the complete set. Buyer pays freight charges as the DFP-2000 is about 30Lbs and the DFP-R2000 is about 20Lbs. We recently have been forced to throw out all our older SDDS equipment and I've kept one working set from our Auditorium #15. Our 16 screen theatre was recently upgraded to all Dolby Digital. The Sony DFP-2000 and Sony DFP-R2000 were in use for about 6 years. The SDDS Decoder inlcudes the power cable, I/O cable and powers up with the SDDS Readers LEDs working. I also have the SDDS Readers mounting brackets. It is possible that you can refurbish the readers LED's and sprocket if you want to bring it back to tip top shape, like new.
