Author Topic: WTB: Change-Over Modification parts kit for Eiki EX-5500S 16mm xenon projector Robert Bates Film Handler Posts: 4 From: Westerville, OH U.S.A. Registered: Dec 2004 posted 01-04-2006 06:56 AM                     I'm looking for the Eiki modification kit (or parts list, schematic, installation instructions, Service Bulletin for same) that Eiki's Tim Plew used to use at their California facility -- that would make the Eiki EX-5500 machines change-over-ready. In other words, the kit that would allow you to connect two of these machines with change-over cables and perform push-button reel change-overs. I have recently acquired two of these machines; one's been modified, the other hasn't. I believe the Eiki part number was 086-06601 ("Mod Kit"). Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated. Also any tips on who might have the technical expertise to do this from scratch, just by copying the modified machine. Would also be interested in possibly buying such a projector already modified.
