Author Topic: sold - FOR SALE HOLMES TYPE D Edward Jurich Master Film Handler Posts: 305 From: Las Vegas USA Registered: Jul 2003 posted 12-19-2008 07:16 PM                     THE HOLMES IS SOLD Holmes model D, a lot of modifications including a new sound pickup and some changes in the threading path. The gate has been modified to accept an aperture plate. The lamp has been changed to a 300 watt ELH. The magazines are removed so it is not suitable for running nitrate. This machine is in very good condition, rock steady picture. It comes with the original 4 inch lens and a Holmes lens adapter with a 5 1/2 inch lens. The adapter allows the use of standard lenses. I am asking $400.00 for it including 2 features. I am unable to deal with shipping anything so it needs to be picked up. I live about an hour north of Kansas City.
