I've had this one stored for over two decades. This unit was set up for stereo playback long ago. The internal electronics have been removed not by myself but by someone long ago. This unit is fully operable and also includes a N.O.S. impossible to find G-2129 Simplex X-L Drive Gear Set that I aquired from Charlie Wolk many years ago as well as the drive gear to couple earlier Simplex projectors. There is no shaft for the older Simplex drive gear but this could be made by any competant machinist.
The 7400 is similar to the Simplex SH-1000 in some aspects but Westen Electric took it a whole lot further. This is circa 1938 and it is Reverse Scan! Many consider this to be the finest sound reproducer ever made peroid. It has fully adjustable slit height and width and is adaptable to any type of sound track in existance. The drive motor is 3600 rpm so wow and flutter is very low. A Century Model D dummy top head is included so this reproducer can be set up for analog track transcription. E-mail me for photos if interested...

Asking $750.00
