Author Topic: SOLD/Scrapped: SIMPLEX 35/70 PROJ, PENTHOUSE/ PARTS Tony Bandiera Jr Film God Posts: 3067 From: Moreland Idaho Registered: Apr 2004 posted 09-22-2010 03:47 PM                     Up for sale is Simplex 35/70 projector head, with 70mm water cooled trap and gate, 35mm curved trap (no water cooling)(I think I have the gate but not sure, I DO have the spacer to convert a regular 35mm curved gate), Simplex Zipper C/O. This head was refurbished and painted black on the outside with a so-so finish, could use a repaint. Interior finish is nice and clean white. Drive is square-tooth timing belt, was originally mated to a 5-Star soundhead. I think I installed a drive seal kit but not sure. Projector Head price $800.00 (will include all spares/guide rollers I have on hand.) Mag Penthouse: Simplex flat-top style, with original grey finish, includes Teccon 70mm nag head, $400.00 Also have the "motion plate" (no casing) for a round-top Simplex mag penthouse, no mag head, but otherwise complete, $75.00 Shipping and crating possible, local pickup preferred.
