I help run a small community owned cinema in Manitoba. Our old building had to be demolished due to structural issues and we had a bunch of old equipment in there.

I don't know if any of this is useful to anyone but I wanted to ask somewhere before just throwing it all out just in case we can get a bit of money to help us with our building replacement project.

If you are interested I can send you a picture or try to answer other questions. Prices are best offer plus shipping costs.

All of this first list were part of a working system that was upgraded about two years ago, some connecting hardware (bolts, etc.) may be missing.

  • 2 x Toshiba Optical Sound Head, Model TP-30 (1968) c/w electric motor
  • 2 x Super Simplex projectors
  • 2 x Weaver changeovers (Model B and Model C)
  • 2 x Kneisley Electric, KNI-TRON rectifiers
  • 2 x set of Simplex upper and lower magazines (2000' foot size).
  • 2 x Strong Electric DC Arc Lamps, Type 19640-1
We also have the following items for which the working state is unknown, but presumably negative. The projectors are almost certainly not parts complete.
  • 2 x Ballantyne Royal Sound Master, Model 6 c/w electric motor
  • 2 x Simplex projectors
  • 1 x Simplex magazine (missing reel shaft)
  • 1 x Strong? projector base
  • Assorted loose parts
