Up for grabs now is a used, in very good condition video projector removed from a home screening room. It has two lamps (300w UXM), both with many hours left to warranty life. It is rated to 6,000 ANSI Lumens.
It includes a zoom lens, (I believe it is the 2.5 -3.75 fl one, I will have to check it to be sure, it was used in a room with a 38ft throw and an image size of aprox. 5'h by 12'w ) The lens system has horizontal and vertical mechanical "boresight" adjusters.
This is a DLP based machine, and has s-video, composite, 5-wire RGB (component) and VGA inputs. Other input modules (such as DVI) can probably be found online or possibly ordered from Panasonic. Supported resolutions on the Component (RGB) inputs include 480i, 480p, 576i, 720/60p, 1035/60i, 1080/60i, 1080/50i, 1080/24p, 1080/30p, 1080/25p and 1080/24sF. Systems include NTSC, NTSC4.43, PAL, PAN-N, PAL-M, SECAM and PAL60.
This is a 3 DLP panel, 0.9inch, 1280x1024 dots light engine.
It can be controlled via IR or RS-232 serial control. I do not have the remote for it, but all functions are easily accessed on the projector itself. I believe the remote is still available from Panasonic if you really need it.

Asking $975.00 (OR REASONABLE OFFER) IF SOLD BEFORE DEC 31ST, 2012.
AFTER DEC.31st 2012 PRICE WILL BE $1,200.00
Local pickup preferred, but will ship to US addresses ONLY. All other buyers MUST arrange for a US based agent to ship outside the US.
