Let's start posting the studio as well as the delivery method (Technicolor, ETS, etc.). This way on those smaller films, we will know who to call if the print doesn't show up.

Note: Prints labeled "highway films" and such ARE from the ETS depot. Please verify the ETS tag somewhere on the label to avoid confusion, as the delivery methods are all named differently for ETS throughout the country.

Here's my list of what is shipped by whom (this applies to the US domestic prints only, international distributors will probably use a differing carrier)

TECHNICOLOR ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES:

Buena Vista (Disney/Touchstone/Hollywood)
MGM (includes UA/MEG/Orion and all Polygram titles prior to the Seagram merger of Polygram)
USA Films (formerly Gramercy and October Films)
Universal
Sony (Columbia/TriStar/Triumph)
Miramax (includes Dimension)
First Look
Trimark
Good Machine
Lion's Gate

ETS:

20th Century Fox
Fine Line
Fox Searchlight
New Line
Paramount
Warner Brothers

Thats all the ones I can remember at the moment Hope this assists anyone!

Aaron

Question for you, is Miramax part of Disney? I mean not in the same way that Touchstone or Hollywood are, but does Disney control them somehow?

Technically yes they do, but in reality I don't think they have too much to do with them.

Then two other questions:
1) Can we put commercials/psa's on Miramax pictures?
2) Do Miramaz trailers go back to BV?

When it comes to commercials, I'd have to wholeheartedly say Miramax should be counted as Buena Vista. But then, perhaps that is just my deep hatred for turning movie theaters into big tvs.

Miramax has never told us wse could not put ads on their prints, and BVs demands did not include Miramax prints either...

Ironically, we were busy putting the new coke ads on screen yesterday.. Of course the coke ad STARTS with the Universal logo...
