According to "highups" at Paramount, this movie's trade screening prints are flat, yet the final release will be scope.

Sorry to add a bit of "chat" but I think a clarification is in order. Brad, feel free to delete my entry if you wish.

I suspect Michael Brown's initial entry was for the original 1969 film, not the 2003 remake. This is an example of adding a year next to the title being beneficial.

Sounds like Super 35, which is often trade and test screened flat in advance of the anamorphic conversion being performed.
