Interesting that Warner Bros. chose to mix Kodak and Fuji prints. I was unaware of that decision. Wonder if the prints were made in different lab locations? (Technicolor labs in North Hollywood and Mirabel Quebec).

Mine was a screening print. I don't remember the lab, but it was definitely on Fuji stock. I would think that the director and DP would (or at least should) be upset if they had approved an answer print made on one type of stock and some of the release prints ended up looking substantially different.

I believe mine were from the Quebec lab, as it had those alternate-styled leaders that are definitely Technicolor, but not quite the same as the typical Technicolor lab's leaders from Hollywood.

Maybe they just didn't like the Fuji look for this film and ordered 2383??? Maybe the lab just screwed up. The 20 minutes I could stomach of this movie looked great and there was not a lab splice or defect in any reel of both prints.

Fujifilm promotes their F-CP 3519 Positive Film as "A color positive cine film for a less saturated look", so it does have a different "look" than KODAK VISION Color Print Film 2383, and very different than KODAK VISION Premier Color Print Film 2393:

While certainly each film stock will have a different look, my prints looked fine. (Plus this movie was just horrible.) Since we've got all of the pertinent information about this film posted here, I am going to lock this thread and continue the discussion in FHF/Ya Ya film stock.
