Reel One's made from Internegative #1 have the cue mark spacing 1 foot shorter than normal. I caught this during the inspection process and simply compensated by cueing R2 one foot farther down than normal. If you don't catch it you'll have 2/3 second of black caused by entering the new reel early. An unusual error considering these are regular cues punched into the IN. I've alerted Sony in case they wish to give a heads up to reel to reel users who may not be checking that closely.

(Bill had an EK print so likely that's not what he refers to.)

Oh yeah: True anamorphic. Woo!

So did anyone else get an R1 with nasty base scratches throughout? Mine didn't appear to have been run before, so it must have been a lab error. Technicolor should be shipping a replacement tomorrow.
