The Silence of the Lambs
1991
35mm
7 reels (reel 7 is short; ~1000ft)
1.66:1 Flat (rounded corners on camera aperture)
Dolby A ("Dolby Stereo")
Eastman LPP acetate stock
Orion Pictures (now booked through MGM/UA, I believe)
Deluxe (Hollywood?) lab

---- Print-specific info
Exchange: TES
Swank print #0001 (probably only bookable through Swank)
Print quality "fair" (3 out of 5); minor scratching in some places, heavy scratching at reel ends.
Original lab cues intact. Some ends short by up to 1.5 feet.
Has had some head-out storage; recommend following RP39 where feasable, but if not, please keep it tail-out when not in use to minimize focus flutter.

Some prints available with Dolby SR soundtrack.

Were there any notes enclosed with the prints indicating the projection ratio is 1.66:1, or is 1.66:1 simply the ratio the image was printed in (meaning 1.85:1 would be the projection ratio)? I can recall seeing other Orion spherical releases printed with rounded hardmatte corners (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and RoboCop 2 come to mind, yet they were still meant for 1.85:1 projection).

This is too chatty for my taste; please continue discussion over in Yak.

(who thinks the FITA is way too chatty lately. Esp. discussions of individual's DVD collections, etc. Let's put a sock in it.)
