Author Topic: North by Northwest (1959) Tao Yue Expert Film Handler Posts: 209 From: Princeton, NJ Registered: Apr 2001 posted 04-30-2003 09:13 PM                        North by Northwest (1959) 8 reels flat 1.66:1 mono Warner Brothers Archives (originally an MGM production) Most of the film is hard-matted to 1.5:1 (VistaVision camera aperture), process shots are hard-matted to 1.66:1. On Kodak Eastman EXR color print film. Edges say "KODAK 386 ## 1997" where ## varies by reel, hence presumably a 1997 print. Color saturation is awful like the video (not like the DVD, which was heavily processed digitally).
