USA (1774.21 miles northeast of Dallas) Registered: Jun 99 posted 03-25-2004 11:46 PM                        Most but not all reels have a single frame labelled "LFOA" (last frame of action?) with arrows pointing at the previous frame immediately after the last frame of that reel. Changeover houses should be quick on the pedal in order to be sure not to show this ugly frame. It violates standard SMPTE 301-1999 "Theater Projection Leader, Trailer and Cue Marks": quote: 7.2 Runout section The runout section of the trailer shall consist of 88 frames, the first 87 of which are to be black with framelines as described in 4.3.
