sing-along sound of music
- reels: 12 (mostly not so full)
- running time: 1:42 (part 1), 1:12 (part 2)
- format: scope
- sound: sr only
- lab: deluxe
- laser subtitled
- valenti rating: none on print
film starts with a silent fox logo, no overture. (should there be one?) reel 7 ends with an intermission tag. reel 8 starts with 2 minutes of walk-in music on a black screen, after which the image fades up. reels 8-12 will fit on one 24" reel. our print is unnumbered. perhaps there is just one?
unlike the trailer, this print does not come from video. i thought at first it might have been scanned, but decided it just looked a bit dupey. it doesn't look like a 65mm reduction, but it doesn't look horrible either. a bit grainy, slightly unsharp, and inconsistant color timing between reels.
if you will be running sing-along s.o.m., note that before the show a host will do a spiel probably lasting 15-30 minutes, so take that into account when scheduling around it. allow time for an operator to stand by waiting for a cue to start the show.
