5 reels 87 minutes mono 1.37 aspect ratio Kino shipped by DHL Express Kodak B&W film stock
R1 tail fades out, R2 head fades in. R3 tail fades out, R4 head fades in.
This print is from a frame-by-frame digital restoration. It basically looks like a new film.
The heads and tails were apparently reproduced from originals and were numbered based on 10-minute reels. Some were in English, some were in French (these used A-B). So, when I pulled out the first reel, the head was labeled 1A (with French text). I was a bit confused at first when I saw that the tail was labeled 'end of part 2'. Then, reel 2 had the head labeled 2A, etc. Hope this helps. [ 04-14-2004, 01:10 AM: Message edited by: Tom Doyle ]
