Le Cercle Rouge [aka The Red Circle] (1970)
New prints struck in 2002, restored 40 minutes of cut footage. "Presented" by John Woo.
- US distributor: Rialto Pictures
- Arrives Fedex from ICS in Glendale, CA
- 8 reels
- FLAT 1.85, hard matte at 1.66
- mono French soundtrack
- English laser subtitles
- 140 minutes
- no lab cues
Print #4 has about a dozen hairline black emulsion scratches throughout the film, and one wider green emulsion scratch that comes and goes. The hairline scratches would probably go away with wet-gate or Filmguard. Otherwise a pretty decent print, someone before us has taken care of it, replaced some heads and tails, made sure all the splices are good, etc. [ 04-16-2004, 10:27 PM: Message edited by: Tao Yue ]
