Criterion

NB: A main character makes a reference to changeover cues and points to the corner of the screen, at which point a changeover cue appears. This is NOT an actual changeover.

Later, there are two different sequences where the film jitters and sprocket holes appear on the screen. This is in the movie, and not your projector malfuntioning.

In other words, if ever there was a film designed to mess with the projectionists head... this is it.
