Orion Pictures Corp was gobbled up by MGM and was absorbed with United Artists in 1998 to be as one subsidary after financial prob began in 1991 with Orion.

"Silence of the Lambs" was Orion's final movie before filing for bankruptcy in 1992 and the two sequels of Hannibal Lector are released by MGM (Weinstein prod for the third).
