Does it have the same Disney intro that Pirates had? With the castle and fireworks in the background?
Because that is just.......awesome.

Doesn't beat the Universal intro though.....

What about SRD-EX and DTS-ES? No DTS-ES logo on the DTS-CDs?

I just put the movie together I didn't watch it. I was too busy doing other things. It was a trade screening so there was no DTS discs in the cans. We do not use EX here so I can't confirm that aspect of the sound.

The sneak print we received had the DTS discs and they do say ES on them.

When I made it up last night, it looked like the old Disney logo with the castle on the blue background, I think it fits better with the pixar logo...

Pixar uses a different (computer-animated) version of the "classic blue" Disney logo. The same one has appeared on all Pixar movies. Only current "Walt Disney" brand pictures use the logo that Pirates used.

Yes, Josh, I noticed the old blue Disney logo when I built our print Thursday night as well. And I agree, it fits better with Pixar movies.

Auto-EX detection? Dolby Digital Surround EX and DTS-ES logos in the credits?

Auto-switching into EX is a combination of the EX bit in the encoded data stream and the decoder being able to read it and switch over. I would suspect that all EX encoded titles produced in since - oh say 2004 - should have the bit properly set unless someone was asleep at the switch.

With that in mind, does it make sense to continually ask (or discuss) Auto-EX any longer?

Just a heads up, all the trailers I have received of Underdog lately (including the one in the Ratatouile cans) have been very badly scratched (green "snow" all over the image).
