Does anyone know the reel count, running time, etc.

The run time I believe was 105 mins.

Fascinating. 6 is indeed correct for the US, see Technicolor's checkframes.

I'm not sure I see how they could be combined and maintain the same runtime. Reel lengths (again, from TES) were:

Reel 1: 1696'04
Reel 2: 1522'13
Reel 3: 1370'09
Reel 4: 1699'07
Reel 5: 1869'05
Reel 6: 1181'06

Combining the the shortest adjacent reels would be R2+R3 which gives 2892 feet, or 32 minutes. [Confused]

Hmmm...now I think of it the print we had was marked as having 5 reels so I watched it go round like that for a few weeks. On breaking it down however, it turned out to indeed have 6.

My error, sorry.
