Author Topic: Election (1999) Tom Doyle Expert Film Handler Posts: 176 From: Bristol, CT, USA Registered: Nov 2002 posted 08-02-2010 02:02 AM                     Paramount/DW DFS scope 5 reels SR/SR-D only 103 min Kodak 2383 I handled print #00590, an original print. All the leaders are missing, replaced with scrap trailer leaders. There's dirt and a few different light wear patterns on the print, horizontal and vertical. It's not serious except for some green vertical scratches on the right-hand side which are definitely noticable in dark scenes. They can possibly be masked/cropped from view. Otherwise, there's nothing really distracting. The Dolby Digital reads moderately well. This is a passable print for screening. The cans are incorrectly marked "quad-track". There's a note enclosed in the can: ATTENTION: Managers/Projectionists In an effort to maintain the quality and integrity of this Repertory print, it has been thoroughly inspected prior to being shipped to your theatre. Please note that any damage - including additional wear, splices, missing footage, broken sprockets, puncture holes, deep scratches, etc. - incurred during your engagement, will be noted upon return inspection. Your theatre may be responsible for print replacement costs. We truly appreciate your business and hope your showing is a success. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
