Author Topic: Pitch Black Scott Magie Film Handler Posts: 73 From: St. Albans, VT USA Registered: Mar 2000 posted 03-23-2000 02:49 AM                     After Mission to Mars, I thoroughly enjoyed myself watching Pitch Black. I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not. I think my only complaint would be that I was never really scared, but I was there for the sci-fi, not for wettin' me-self. As for the sci-fi, I was THERE... deserted on an unknown planet. Nothing is more important to a sci-fi film than convincing me that it's not fiction at all. Does anyone remember "The Black Hole"? I haven't seen it since grade-school, and I'm sure it's a horrible film, but I remember being absolutely amazed by it because it seemed so real to me then. I remember wondering if the actors had to go thru NASA training because I thought they actually filmed in space. But I digress. My point is this: Pitch Black may not be a good film or maybe it is... but since I enjoyed the ride, I'll remember it well. ------------------ Scott A.
