this movie was the worst thing since eye of the beholder. gosh it was so awful. the acting and everything. the main bad guys eyes are so screwed up, i honelstly think aside from kim basinger, they couldnt have rounded up an uglier cast. me and my friends just sat and made fun of the entire thing. it has an R rating, supposed to be for extreme violence and profanity. they say the "F" word once, the rest is just petty swearing. as for violence, theres a part where a bum gets burned to death, but as the fire ignites they cut away to the bad guy walking away. the best part of the movie is where the dentist gets hit by a limo. that made the movie worth seeing. i think if they cut out a few of the swear words and the part with the knitting needles in the eyes, it could have gotten away with a PG rating. yea an old lady shoves knitting needles in a guys eyes. the only thing that could have made that scene more goofier is if she tried to make a quilt out of him.

It's movies like this that are putting theaters into bankruptcy. Big names, BIG LET DOWN. This year has been the worst years for movie. Bless the Child is nothing but a preachy movie and a complete flop.
