Dumb title, but funny movie. I was expecting to see alot of T&A, but where was it? I think we saw more skin from Jerry O'Connell than the women! The Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel actually gave it a fair review. That's postive 'cause they've ripped most films to shreds as of late. Funny, stupid, and amusing. The attached trailer for Rob Schneiders new film "Animal" looked gutbusting! Let's hope its as funny as the trailer.

Never have I been so let down from what appeared to be a promising mindless flick from the trailer. This was terrible, and its my kind of movie. I was expecting more because the director has a porno past in writing and I think directing, and there was no full on nudity (except some pretty excruciating ass shots from Busey and OConnell) until the outtakes at the end (there was one gag in the middle that was close, but may be a spoiler). Yikes, and I just loved how they blatantly ripped off Waynes World and other flicks. Bring back the Farrelly brothers or the Zuckers, they know how to make these kind of flicks.

Attendance: 2001/03/31 21:05 Shady Brook Cinemas 12, Columbia, TN Auditorium 4

I found this movie to be funny, and with enough humor to give the audience something to laugh at often. About 40 people showed up for this Saturday night showing and I could tell that the audience enjoyed the movie.

The point that got the most laughs (that lasted nearly a full minute) was the bit where the guy needed to have his testicle examined due to the swelling and the doctor, a proctologist, said "I'm a proctologist, not a urologist." The line after that, which was something like, "You mean you'd stick your fingers up his ass, but wouldn't touch his ball?" got a HUGE laughter response from the audience. That was a great line.

Everyone had fun with this movie, so I recommend it if you're looking for something to make you laugh.

The presentation was excellent. I'd never been to this particular theatre. It was a 40-foot wide auditorium with a 20 foot screen (flat mode) with side masking that would make the screen wider for scope. There were no notable defects in the presentation. The auditorium had stadium seating, but with much less rise per row than I'd seen previously. The rise was only 6 to 8 inches per row, which served the purpose just fine.

Was this movie originally called "Buying the Cow"? And is Destination Films officially dead (or did they change their name to Revolution Studios?)

No it isn't "Buying the Cow". That one has Bridget ??-Sampras ( I believe ).

I do believe that Destination has had it.

They were also supposed to bring out Ring Of Fire.

Paul.

Dug it a lot. I seriously laughed so hard through the whole thing. For stupid humor, I give this a 9. C'mon, it's not Revenge of the Nerds, but it'll do till we revive RotN!

To my back, that is my old Lowe Alpine backpack. I upgraded to a smaller one last winter. :-)
