No I haven't seen this yet but I am VERY keen to have a look at it so I thought I'd start the thread. I understand that the film has been released in the US.

I have see the original French Film 'Les Visiteurs" which is one of the best French comedies I have seen.

So guys what did you think of the remake?

I'll answer my own question

No one has reviewed it because just about no-one has seen it! Disney's fingers must be stinging! $80+ million down the drain.

This film has finally been released in Australia so I went along to see it.

I thought it wasn't too bad. Christian Clavier's first outing in an American film was a fair effort and the film is a good remake of the original although a lot of the black humor has been toned down for American audiences. Good performances by Jean Reno & Christina Applegate also.

Still the film had a good plot and the humor was still there.
