I saw this one at the independant art house a few blocks away from me called The Little Theater. It was a full house, and the presentation was very good. I almost didn't notice the splices, and their lamp was burning up the screen.
The movie itself was very good. Leelee Sobieski was convincing in the role of a goth teenager, and Albert brooks in the role of an uptight middle aged man. The way the relationship eveolved was interseting, and very refreshing when it did not turn into a lolita type of story. The story was well paced, and well worth the time. Out of 10 I would give this film a 7.

The Little Theatre is a five-screen arthouse in Rochester. Owner Bill Coppard is a real movie buff, and does a good job with limited resources to "Do Film Right":
