Author Topic: The Powerpuff Girls Movie Mike Schindler Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1039 From: Oak Park, IL, USA Registered: Jun 2002 posted 07-03-2002 05:45 AM                     I loved this movie. The humor is very smart, and it serves as a great introduction to the Powerpuff Girls for anyone who is not familiar with the show. The animation is obviously simple, but very effective. The sound mix was very aggressive in its use of all 5 channels. This movie was just a lot of fun. I had a smile on my face the whole time. Furthermore, the Dexter's Lab short is horrible! I LOVE Dexter's Lab and this short played more like Ren and Stimpy than Dexter's Lab. There were some bits of humor like on the show but for the most part it seemed to drag. IE the part where the were playing tag.. ok after 2 minutes of the exact same thing we get the point.
