Ho-Hum......I'm trying to think of what I liked....oh yah. I like that they had defined bad guys and good guys. They didn't try to show any of the Japs as human or "having a story". It's refreshing to see things defined this way here in the days of PC. In that respect it reminded me of John Wayne's war films. You know who's good and you know who's bad. Otherwise... They must of had a great budget for fake blood. Boy it really flew. Lots of gratuitous violence. I think this is about the thinnest story I've seen in a while. Laughable... CGI airplanes and bombs. There was one seen where 4 or 5 japs are attacking, and a guy (I can't remember who) shoots 4 times and 5 guys fall down. (John Wayne vs the Indians?) The hula girls, who were on screen for maybe 1 or 2 seconds in the background, got screen credits at the end. When my wife saw that she said "There were Hula girls?"
