Advertising tag line: "We are going to eat you!". "From the Lucio Fulci Collection", 1979, Italian, some dubbed English dialog (a few of the actors speak in English). DVD, letterboxed 2.35:1 but not 16:9-enhanced. Original mono soundtrack has been sweetened for Dolby Digital 5.1 on the DVD.

This is quite a good zombie movie, reminds me of "Night of the Living Dead". I actually saw this in a theater many years ago, and what a memorable experience that was. A Saturday midnight show at the Fountain Valley Family Twin (independent). The owner was working the box office and selling tickets that were already torn. The women's restroom toilets were plugged up and overflowing into the lobby. Packed house, mostly college age and stoned. Lots of audience participation including yelling obscenities at the zombies and throwing things at the screen. Beer bottles rolling down the auditorium floor. A unique moviegoing experience!

The zombie makeup & effects are very well done and occasionally pretty gruesome. I love this movie for what it is: a trashy gore-fest done with some style and flair.

A few of my co-workers felt the need to share this thing with me a while back. I have to say I was pretty bored. On the other hand, you gotta love any movie with a fight scene between a zombie and a shark.

Oh yeah, any movie with an underwater scene featuring an extended fight between a zombie and a shark is definitely worth checking out!
