I can not say anything kind about this piece of crap. No one in the auditorium laughed. No one, including myself.

I myself have never been so thrilled about a fire alarm going off and putting an end to a show. I don't know if I would have made it through the entire 80 minutes. Heck the 'Something Fishy' short at the start was the best part I saw.

Not to mention the end/credits are like the movie that wouldn't end!

"Not to mention the end/credits are like the movie that wouldn't end!"

I saw those while building and couldn't really decide where I should put the lighting cue. Now I know I should have put it about five minutes into the feature when everybody starts to get up and leave.

Poor Adam Sandler for having his name on this. The english language does not even contain the words to describe how bad it is.

Does anyone know what the budget was? It made 12.5 Mill in its opening weekend; I can't imagine it costing much more than that, so...

MOD2, anyone?
Heh.

Let's HOPE NOT!!!

No offense to Dana Carvey, but he really is not that funny. He had a few humorous bits on SNL years ago, but really he is nothing but a mildy amusing sidekick, and never will have what it takes to lead a movie like this, or anything for that matter.

Despite the massive media campaign to push this show, it was killed by much better options. I mean really, that ad for it just made me want to vomit.

I saw it at a drive-in paired with Signs. I was looking at my clock every other minute. It wasn't the worst movie of all time, but it sure comes close, very close.

Attendance: 2002/08/16 19:10, Regal Madison Square 12, Huntsville, AL, auditorium 2, Flat

OK, I must first say that I thought I'd enjoy this movie considerably, since I enjoyed Dana Carvey on Saturday Night Live so much. He could morph into so many different characters so well. I cracked up watching him do church lady, George Bush, Garth from Wayne's World, Ross Perot (that was a total riot! :-) ), Johnny Carson, ...

Anyway, this movie was so incredibly dumb and was a disappointment. The audience laughed at many scenes, but how many times can you laugh at the man who farts every time he laughs. The "turtle club" scene was painful to watch -- awful!

Dana Carvey is only 47 or 48 years old, and has had massive heart bypass surgery. I really wish he could come back and get popular again in something better. He's got talent -- he's just got to find a good way to put it to use.
