[sex] [thumbsup]

I actually liked this movie, the story has been done plenty of times, a good kid gets involved with a bad girl and things happen. However, this had a little bit of a twist and it had one of my favorite porn stars, so it worked out well.

Loved this flick! Good story, nice twist, and Elisha! The film just put me back in that high school mindset and it felt nostalgic. This should do well.

I liked this one. Elisha Cuthber was hotter than I remember in the show “24” so that helped. The story was simple & unrealistic but still entertaining. I enjoyed the casting & thought the end was enjoyable. Much better than the crap that’s been opening lately anyways. [Smile]

Will be fun to keep the young teenagers out of this one.

Sweet Jesus Phil..

The reason you didn't like it was the fact that **** SPOILER ***
they updated the lame ass 60's themed sex ed video. I know, I know, you worked hard (no pun intended) on that video with Mrs. McGillicuddy (Andy Griffith reference) but it wasn't THAT bad of a flick.

If, for no other reason, than Elisha Cuthbert is just so freeking H-O-T. [evil] The Matthew kid sort of reminds me of DiCaprio for some odd reason or another. The two lamer buddies of his remind me of two of my operators. Maybe that's why I found the humor in it...

All in all, this is your ordinary juvenile drama with some odd humor thrown in. Not aimed at the masses, but aimed at a traget audience to damn young to BUY a ticket themselves. [Frown]

2.5/5

Cuthbert is pure eye candy through this whole movie. Every cut-away to her gorgeous face...damn nice. Someone said there were porn stars and naked girls in this? Maybe I should watch it again, because I didn't notice em. [Wink]

Really, I thought the three boys were pretty fun characters, but I couldn't get that long haired kid's character from "Taking Lives" out of my head.

Good flick for what it was trying to be. I'll get the DVD for sure. And isn't that the true measure of a good movie? LOL

This is a pretty enjoyable "fun flick". There's nothing exceptional or artistic here, but it's an entertaining couple of hours to kick back and laugh. My only warning is to be prepared for a silly and somewhat lame ending. It's still worth trekking out to see in a theater with a crowd though.

I've gotten into the habit of not watching ANY trailers these days and watching them online only after I have seen the movie. This one is no exception. The entire first HOUR is played out scene by scene in the trailer! [Mad]

Presentation note - the first few minutes has a VERY LOUD bit of music in it. Do not turn the fader down. The rest of the movie plays well assuming that song in the first few minutes is "too loud". Well done sound mix too.

So far this is the best movie of 2004.

I saw it yesterday and generally enjoyed the experience. It is a totally forgettable movie.

I concur with all of the above "Elisha Cuthbert" comments.

Movie pitch:

So it's "Risky Business" except that instead of a hooker she'll be a port star. [thumbsup]

Why is it that "serious actresses" like Naomi Watts can show their breasts (in films like "Mulholland Drive" and "21 Grams") and other women pretty much regarded as "eye candy" keep on their clothes? I mean, one would normally figure an R-rated movie with a premise involving porn might show at least some skin.
