Author Topic: Fog of War Chris Hipp Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1462 From: Mesquite, Tx (east of Dallas) Registered: Jul 2003 posted 02-27-2004 11:23 PM                     This is a documentary about secretary of Defense Robert Macnamara (SP?), his life and his involvement with WWII, Vietnam, Cold War and the ford motor company. One Projectionist was 25-years-old, I am 41-years-old, and the booth chief is 50-years-old. The 25-year-old said; 'this is a facinating film, I didn't realize that it happened this way.' I thought; I don't remember it happening this way. The 50-year-old said; "He was lying then, and he's lying now!" All in all I thought it was a well crafted film that encouraged discusion and the desire to learn more. I loved watching the old color clips. ********* SPOILERS AHEAD ************** McNamara essentially says Cuba (i.e., Castro) and North Vietnam would have fought to the very end of their existence.
