I don't want to give out any spoilers, but this movie was GREAT! Everyone should go see this, because you will have a thoroughly enjoyable experience and leave the theater refreshed with a smile on your face. 5 starts out of 5!!!

This review of course assumes you fall asleep during the movie. Otherwise it gets 1.5 stars.

Brad,

I pretty much concur with your assessment of this film. I thought it was funny that Burt Reynolds was in it... why, I don't know, but it humored me.

The 80's song flashbacks made me think of days gone by. The whole "Deliverance' idea was was overplayed and the earthgirls were plain out nasty....

If you've n-o-t-h-i-n-g better to do one afternoon, I'd still skip this one.

1.5/5

Well, I liked it. Finally, a movie that doesn't have all the funny lines condensed in the trailer. Never thought that Seth Green was that short! I knew that he was short, but wow, he's really short! You will have to carefully listen to the dialogue, as there are some great one liners. Gotta love the "garden" scene. But wait, no soundtrack available??? All those classic tunes, and no plug for a cd.

I really wasn't expecting much prior to viewing this film. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Had I paid to see it, I would have felt that I got my monies worth, and not ripped off, like in the case of White Chicks. [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

I went in expecting more, seeing that I am very easy to please when it comes to comedies. This was awful. I listened to a lot of lines without a giggle. Especially Dax. He just wasn't funny, with the exception of the stuff they showed in the trailers. The stuff in the trailers was great.

I thought the movie was not as funny as I was expecting but I thought it was very entertaining.

Take every movie about guy friends going on a trip (there are hundreds), take the worst things out of those movies, cram it all together and you've got this movie. Positively one of the worst movies I've seen this year. That's right -- this one is up there with Eurotrip for worst comedy of the year.

The parts that are supposed to be funny fall flat, and even worse, the film tries to play to a serious side with a message in the ending. As the plot drags on, the script even resorts to all-too-predictable poop and erection jokes. See any movie out in theaters right now, but not this one.

What can I say... the movie took up time(which is why I watched it). [eyes] It was laughable but not quite enjoyable. Seemed long and drawn out. The pace wasn't fast enough. It was like the director wanted you to laugh longer. I felt several awkward silences during the movie. It was like... "should the audience laugh or wait for a better a joke to come around?" [Confused]

Burt Reynolds was kinda cool. But all the other actors acted like every character they already played in. I was expecting that one dude to bust out with a line from Scooby Doo every time the pitch of his voice got higher.
But I guess if you had a choice between sitting at home and doing nothing or watching this movie... watch the movie. If you have a life, you shouldn't watch this movie. [Roll Eyes]
