This movie jumped around to much with a weak plot that took to long to develop. It had a lot of potential but it just didn't come through. It had it's funny parts but was it a comedy a love story or a female empowerment film? I think it just lacked a direction. [sleep]

Slow and uninteresting.
Trying to ride the skirts of the limited success of Barber Shop should be a crime of capitol proportions.
I was even less impressed with the choice to shoot it in scope and even less impressed with the rampant focus flutter and shittastic editing.

Guys, are we talking about the same movie here? I mean come on, this movie had QUEEN LATIFAH in it!!!!!!!! How could it possibly be bad? That's just not possible. Again, QUEEN LATIFAH!!! [Eek!]

To quote Phil after not actually seeing the movie: "I liked it!"

I liked the 30 seconds I saw ... some kid is selling candy bars and asks Queen Latifah if she wants some $5 chocolate to go with her milkshakes.

It had it's funny parts but if you cut out all the crap you would be left with a very good 15 minute short.
