I haven't seen the movie but here's a review sent to me by a friend of mine. (He gave me permission to republish it here.)
We saw "A lot like love" which in my opinion was about a 3 on a ten scale. It was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW in my opinion. Dee liked it. Typical chick flick. Dude meets chick, chick is not interested, dude leaves, dude reunites with chick but dude is taken, chick is now interested, dude breaks up with other chick and goes looking for original chick who, yes, you guessed it, is now taken. From here we go to dramatic montage of how great it was to be together, chick dumps new dude and goes looking for original dude, who is now getting married. Dude really isn't getting married, it's his sister's wedding. Dude realizes she is there, they kiss and the credits role.
How many fucking times can they make this movie? Highlight of the movie? Amanda Peet puts on a silky looking dress and her nipples are hard as rock for about 5 minutes of the movie. She's hot. A couple of minor funnies, and that's it. It blew. I am so getting laid for putting up with that shit.
